There are just a few Showmax text styles, yet they provide enough optionality to properly structure text information displayed in our product interfaces.
Font
We use Montserrat typeface on web. Roboto and San Fransisco are used only in mobile apps and AndroidTV where we respect native typefaces platform-wise.
Size
We use three types of sizes for headlines. The same applies to body text which comes in 2 font weights.
Line height
We use 150 % line height of selected font size. It is rounded up to even numbers (e.g. 21 -> 22). This setting keeps visual balance in the interface. Also it supports easy reading of even larger chunks of body text.
Information priority
In case you need to display information with lower priority in the interface we recommend to use colour for secondary text. Dark and Light theme has dedicated its colour for this purpose. For any other purposes use primary colour theme-wise. This will allow for better scanability of the interface.
